Responsibilities would include filing pre-coded documents in a chronological file, or operating office equipment, (e.g., mimeograph, photocopy, addressograph or mailing machine). This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, such as coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file; could involve simple posting to individual accounts, opening mail, calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts, operating basic office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, mailing machines, and minimal computer programs. Experience with Lean and Six Sigma is preferred.<br/><br/>Physical Demands:<br/>Certain operations may require the individual to lift and move computer and other equipment of approximately 50 lbs in weight, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded. The individual must be able to perform duties in extreme weather (dusty, arid, high and low temperature). Travel may also be required to support contingency military operations in remote/austere physical environments. Position may require bending, kneeling, or crawling to get to cables under and behind furniture.
