Job Description: Senior Technical Test Manager This is an exciting time for CGI, and we want you to be part of it.

We are looking for someone who is self-leading, client relationship savvy, and experienced with defining, leading/implementing and proposing complex QA and Testing solutions and organizational models to senior client managers and executives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of Test Strategy including: Test Phases, Test Process, Technical Approach, Test Management Approach, Metrics Approach, Test Infrastructure, Test Organization/Resources, Test Automation Approach, Test Data Approach, and Risk Assessment
- Manage a globally distributed team.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the testing team including:
– Accountable to define and govern the test strategy and supporting plans, processes, tools, environments and best practices
– Accountable for the development and execution of project test strategies and plans, includes post-implementation analysis to continuously improve testing processes and capability
– Work closely with clients to determine requirements and insure that solutions being delivered meet the expectations from a business and technical perspective and the commitments on quality, scope and schedule are achieved
– Track project schedules and assign resource allocations in order to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer requirements
– Prepare a detailed statement of requirements for the proposed technical testing solution
– Develop project deliverables, including Overall Test Strategy, Detailed Test Plan, and Project Summary, including suggestions for process improvement where appropriate
– Liaison with the client for approvals of deliverables
– Work closely with client Testing Managers, Project Managers, Software and Technical Architects, DBAs, and Developers on the detailed technical design and support of technical solutions to meet functional, performance and quality objectives
– Ensure that all stakeholders including Business, Development, and Testing are uniformly informed of changes in scope
– Utilize standard industry test tools for the automation/execution of test scripts/cases and reporting of incidents.
– Mentor and coach Junior Members of the team

Required Level of Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
